For the second consecutive week we offer you cosplay based on the Star Wars saga Boba Fett Darth Vader Stormtrooper Christmas Shirt. And again, we have complicated our lives. Instead of showing the best dressed girls like princess Leia Organa, Padmé Amidala or bounty hunter Aurra Sing (who will also arrive) we entertain ourselves looking for cosplayer who have made their own interpretation of the mandalorian combat armor worn in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. We met him in The Empire Strikes Back, as Vader’s last resort for stopping the heroes of the Rebel Alliance, and then learned of his origins in Star Wars Episode II: The Attack of the Clones. His combat armor hides many secrets, such as the jetpack on his back, which allows him to perform small flights, a hook he throws from his gauntlet, or the flamethrower he hides on the other wristband. We know that it is actually one of the clones made from Jango Fett (who wore similar armor) on which the conditioning of the imperial troops was not carried out. He pilots one of the most amazing ships in the galaxy, the Slave I.
On the one hand, James Mangold is already working on Boba Fett’s spin-off, with a script by Simon Kinberg, with whom he already coincided in Logan. It will be filmed or not, but there is already a director and scriptwriter working on the text. On the other hand, the spin-off of Obi Wan Kenobi is being prepared, a film for which they are trying to get Stephen Daldry involved. Yes, exactly, Billy Elliot’s Stephen Daldry.
The momentum of Donald Glover, the new Lando Calrissian, perfectly twinned with Billy Dee Williams, who played the original smuggler and crook (who is even capable of doing great doing himself in an episode of Modern Family), is forcing Lucasfilm to consider his own spin-off.

These three bets are risky. That’s how we see it in Esquire’s Mira Mamá Sin Manos department. On the one hand, no matter how much Boba Fett is a cult character who had a couple of moments in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi, with a comic death where there are them -which we were able to laugh about at the premiere, laughter that was only silenced by Skywalker’s Esther Williams in the desert boat-, the film has to be good to please its own fans and strangers -the venerable audience without a face or trajectory in the mythical Star Wars universe -the venerable audience without a face or trajectory in the mythical Star Wars universe-, with a comic death where there are them -which we were able to laugh about at the premiere, laughter that was only silenced by Skywalker’s Esther Williams in the desert boat-, the film has to be good to please its own fans and strangers -the venerable audience without a face or trajectory in the mythical Star Wars universe -. But what’s more: through Obi Wan? Those are big words. It would be like taking Yoda out of the closet for his own film.
We think you have to spin finer. And to do that you have to make bolder decisions about which characters star in your own spin-off. Mira Mamá Sin Manos’ department offers Lucasfilm and Disney the following characters so that they can star in their own spin-offs. Oh, and have their stories written by either Rogue One scriptwriters Tony Gilroy and Chris Weitz or, if these are not available, the now ubiquitous Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markys, who sign Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Star Wars 8)’ explained Darth Vader’s prophecy. Did Anakin Skywalker really bring balance to the Force? Fans have been asking this question ever since the prophecy of the Chosen One was known in ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’ (1999). Now, Star Wars Episode VIII has finally given viewers an answer almost two decades later.
If ‘Star Wars: The Awakening of the Force’ was J.J. Abrams’ love letter to George Lucas’ original trilogy, Rian Johnson has chosen a very different path. Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is immersed in depth with themes and ideas that were first developed in the pre-school trilogy. Concepts such as the balance of the Force are recovered and the idea is returned that, in some way, Darth Vader restored everything. But let’s go to the origin of all this before explaining how Episode VIII answers the above question.
What is the “equilibrium of Force” in the Star Wars saga?
The idea that the Force is in equilibrium has always been a somewhat strange concept. The Jedi venerate the Bright Side of the Force and yet the Chosen One appears to be a Jedi prophecy. It recognizes that the Dark Side and the Shining Side are necessary, that they exist as a yin and a yang in the Force. For this reason, most fans assume that the prophecy of the Chosen One predates the Jedi Order. The trilogy of pre-schools established a reality in which there were thousands of Jedi, but only two Sith. The Jedi believed that the Chosen One would come to bring the balance of the Force by destroying the Sith. “You were the Chosen One! The one who would destroy the Sith, not the one who would join them! You were supposed to bring balance to the Force, not sink it into darkness,” Obi-Wan Kenobi shouts to Anakin Skywalker after defeating him at Mustafar.

Even Darth Maul seemed to come to the same conclusion. The search for the balance of the Force was a crucial part of Maul’s story in ‘Star Wars Rebels’. Maul died believing that Obi-Wan Kenobi was protecting the Chosen One. “He will avenge us,” he whispered, trusting that the Chosen One would bring the end to the Sith. Despite all these contradictions, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ gave us a first canonical definition of the balance of the Force. Greg Rucka’s novel about the Whills Guardians included a quote attributed to an Ascendant of Mau. It was as follows: “The pause between breaths is the balance of the Force. Between life and death, between rest and action, serenity and passion and hope and despair. According to this quote, balance is fleeting. As ephemeral as “the pause between breaths”. It is not in the paths of the Jedi or the Sith, but in an intermediate place. This is something that directly contradicts the Jedi and Sith codes. Because the Jedi venerate serenity and reject passion. But the Sith believe that peace is a lie and that there should only be passion.
A few days before the Comic Con in San Diego, where episode IX of the Star Wars saga should take a prominent place, a brand new Stormtrooper in the colours of the Sith has just been unveiled in the form of a toy. As has often happened in the past, the merchandising related to the film could reveal some clues about the upcoming feature film, expected on December 18. Indeed, the rank of this new soldier of the First Order is not insignificant, since he is a Sith Trooper. And who says “Sith Trooper” also says “Sith Lord”, that seems pretty logical. Insignificant in appearance, this small detail is likely to say quite a lot about the plot of this episode IX, and perhaps herald a return to the ancestral struggle between Sith and Jedi. As a reminder, neither Kylo Ren nor his knights can claim Boba Fett Darth Vader Stormtrooper Christmas Shirt to belong to the Sith Order, which is supposed to have died at the end of the Jedi’s Return, at the death of Darth Vader and Darth Sidious (alias Emperor Palpatine). The latter, who we know with certainty will return in Skywalker’s Ascension (even if we don’t know in what form), would have survived, gathering his henchmen at his side again? Hence the famous Sith Trooper? After all, as the first trailer of the film reminds us very well: “Nobody really disappears.”
